Buying guide and car receivers

New
- Quick valuation is now a buying guide for the lot. One card shows the most you should pay and the offer to open with, and how many live listings back them up. The charts are one tap below.
- Every agreed purchase now names the person who will receive the car. Pick them on the deal card and Home shows them the hand-over. During the hold, a manager can hand it back to the Branch’s managers. Managers
- Offers above your Branch’s limit, set as a share of the market median, now wait for a manager to approve them before they reach the customer. Managers
- The customer sheet shows the price of the car they’re buying, their trade-in allowance and the balance, whichever way it goes.
- Pressing New starts a full appraisal straight away. Quick valuation is still there under Start something else.
- Not bought shows how far each lost offer was from the most you could have paid. People shows which appraiser made each offer, and how their recon plan compared with the final cost. Owners
Improved
- Owner numbers in Inventory are more trustworthy. Gross uses each car’s current market price and its recorded cost, and cars missing a price, a market match or a cost are counted separately instead of skewing the totals. Owners
- Every count in Inventory opens the exact list of cars behind it.
- Price drops for aged cars follow one rule. The car page, Inventory, Home, bulk pricing and Insights all suggest the same step, and bulk pricing only offers a step once it’s due and never raises a price.
- A price suggestion you dismiss stays dismissed after the overnight market update, and “Why it isn’t selling” points to the same next step as the suggestion.
- Prices round to the nearest AED 100 before saving, so the price you see is the price that’s saved.
- The price sheet compares your offer and recon with dated market evidence.
- Customer search finds records beyond the first page, and never matches on details you aren’t allowed to see.
- Finance can print any agreement it can see, including completed ones. Finance
- Arabic reads more naturally. Activity lines start with the person’s name, and ad conditions and colours such as Tan, Cream and Navy are translated.
Fixed
- An out-of-date screen can no longer change a car. If someone else got there first, the sale, reservation, transfer or status change is refused and nothing is saved.
- A sold car shows the price and VAT from its own deal, not today’s asking price. A car sold while on transfer can no longer be received at the other Branch.
- Evaluate this listing keeps its result when the competing ads finish loading.
- A car with only a few listings no longer says there’s no market evidence.
- Mark ready asks for the missing prep evidence, and reopening prep on a car that’s already been handed over is refused with the reason.
- Undoing an import puts back exactly the car that was there before.
- The deal card shows the real date the car was received, the approval reminder disappears once an offer is approved, and a customer sheet that fails to print says why.
